THANK YOU to Dana and Karen of Icing Dreams Specialty Cakes for such a lovely and delicious cake! It was so fun brainstorming ideas. This one ended up being vanilla with fudge filling on the bottom tier and pink champagne cake on the top. A-maz-ing! I encourage everyone to stop by and try a cupcake or 12 of their out of the ordinary flavors. Although it's a tough pick, the pistachio is my personal favorite.
The photos in the background are two of my favorite photos of my mother. They remind me of how much I loved watching her while she'd put her makeup on and how I thought (and still think) she is one of the most beautiful and stylish women ever.
