Is Color Afraid of You?

  Over and over again I hear, "I'm not afraid of color."  Like a silly protest to beige or like it's a declaration of individuality or something.  Whatever, everyone has their preferences.

  I happen to lean more toward the lack there of.  That is when it come to my home.  No, I am not afraid of color.  Quite the opposite in fact.  I spend so much time appreciating and evaluating color that I need the rest when it comes to decorating for myself.  Besides, here's an exercise, next time you find yourself near more than one shade of white, put them next to each other.  You might be surprised by how many color variations there are in different shades of white.
